"Here Comes Peter Cottontail"

"Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Easter's on its way

Bringin' ev'ry girl and boy
A basketful of Easter joy
Things to make your Easter
Bright and gay

He's got jelly beans for Tommy

Colored eggs for sister Sue

There's an orchid for your mommy

And an Easter bonnet too. Oh!

Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity
Happy Easter Day"

I hope that everyone is getting ready for Easter.  I am working on my Easter table already, how about you?   Many thanks to Steve Nelson and Jack Rollins who wrote the song, "Here Comes Peter Cottontail", in 1950.

  6. Really pretty table! I love the matelasse tablecloth and the pretty place settings! The Peter Cottontail centerpiece is great!!! Now those Easter bonnets...they're so cool! They look like something out of "Alice in Wonderland" or "Pretty Woman". (Remember the scene at the horse races?) Beautiful!

  7. You have now put me in the mood to set up the Easter table. I love all your festive touches.

I also took some time to look at the GORGEOUS pink table in the previous post. That pink stemware is exactly what I've been wishing for for a long time. Loved it.
